Senad is the Principal of Ascot Solicitors and established the firm in August 2011. His vision was to establish a thriving law firm in the western suburbs and he has singlehandedly built the firm from the ground up. When the firm was in its infancy and had only 1 employee and 1 office back in 2012, Senad invested all of his time, efforts and funds into expanding the firm and creating a legacy. Over the short period that Ascot Solicitors has been open, we have grown rapidly and we now have 4 offices and a team of lawyers, admin and support staff all operating under Senad’s tutelage.

Senad’s goal was to establish a practice that is based on integrity, informed by expertise and driven successfully to provide the best results that can be achieved for a diversity of clients. His approach is considered and calculated to offer a comprehensive solution to all his clients, having spent considerable time practising in all of the major areas of law, namely: property law, building & construction, civil litigation, family law, wills and estates and estates disputes. Senad acts for countless property developers, large corporations, notable high-wealth luminaries and Australian sports stars and personalities and he has continuously strived to achieve optimal outcomes for all of his clients. Senad is energetic and upfront with all his clients. He is the quintessential advocate, and is always prepared to fight for each client, no matter how big or small.

Victor was the first employee to join Ascot Solicitors, arriving in 2012 as a Graduate Solicitor after he was admitted to practise in October 2012. His crowning achievement came in early 2019, when he was promoted to Senior Associate –  which was fitting recognition for his dedication, hard work and resilience over the many years of being a valued member of the Ascot team.

Victor is a passionate and driven young professional who is fluent in English and Mandarin and prides himself on his meticulous approach and technical competence. Having acted for a wide-ranging clientele which includes corporations, large property developers and private high-wealth individuals, Victor has developed an unique sense of empathy and compassion which he applies towards each client’s distinct context.

Victor’s knowledge of the law is multifaceted, as he has practised in civil litigation, commercial law matters, business transactions, bankruptcy/liquidation matters, Family Law, wills and estates, corporate law, employment law, criminal law and property law matters. His involvement in the legal profession has enabled him to understand the interaction between the legislation, competitive representation and accountability to client demands, and he is able to methodically connect these aspects in order to achieve the optimal outcome for each client.

Outside of work, Victor maintains an active lifestyle, enjoys spending time with friends and is an avid follower of Aussie Rules Football.

Victor’s legal attributes come in handy at home when he is with his young family, especially when his persuasive skills are needed to convince his baby daughter that it’s time for bed and when his analytical skills are used to deduce if something is wrong (was it a missed anniversary or a forgotten birthday?) whenever he finds himself in trouble with his wife.

Successfully represented clients in the Magistrate’s Court, Federal Circuit Court, Family Court and VCAT.

It takes a strong, passionate, and empathetic person to be a supporter of St Kilda Football Club as we all know it comes with its fair share of heartache. These same qualities are what makes me a great Family Lawyer.

My passion of Family Law makes me strive for the best possible outcome for my client in every matter. Family law is undoubtably a highly emotionally charged area of the law and it is important to have a lawyer that understands your situation.

Finally, being strong is an important quality for all lawyers, however it is my opinion that it is an essential quality for a great family lawyer. As a family lawyer, you are the client’s point of reference throughout this stressful period of their life, and you need to be strong enough to support and advise your client when the process gets difficult and complicated.
